What Mountain View offers your group

Mountain View has a beautiful campus which will make your group feel very welcome. From the cozy Dining Hall to the rustic Barn to the beautiful hiking trails, you’ll feel at home and at peace.

Dining Hall – The open and airy dining area seats about 100 people, and the commercial kitchen is fully appointed with appliances, pots, pans, dishes & flatware. There is a dish washing room as well. There are 5 bedrooms with 2 twin beds each, and 3 bathrooms in the staff area and 1 bathroom in the dining area. 

Cabin Paul – the newest cabin (completed 2013) sleeps 12 campers and 2 counselors, with bathrooms and showers. The attached Nurses annex has 1 bunk plus a treatment bunk, and 2 bathrooms & a shower.

Cabin Matthew – one of the oldest cabins original to the farm*, sleeps 12 campers and 2 counselors, and has 3 bunks in the annex. There are bathrooms and showers.                                                                          *See the “Camp History” tab for the story on the farm!

Cabin Mark – one of the oldest cabins original to the farm, sleeps 5 campers and 2 counselors, with bathrooms and showers.

Cabin Luke – sleeps 14 campers & 2 counselors, with bathrooms and showers. The annex has 3 bunks.

Cabin John – sleeps 14 campers & 2 counselors, with bathrooms and showers. The annex has 3 bunks.

The Barn – is over 100 years old, original to the farm. It’s a favorite place to hold worship and fellowship activities. The Game Room is in the lower level, where you’ll find Foosball, Carpetball (seriously addictive), Shuffleboard, Air Hockey Tables and Ping-Pong tables (please bring paddles & balls).

Campfire Ring – get your s’mores on! A great place to sing praises to God for His awesome creation.

Outdoor Chapel – a peaceful, quiet setting to hear God’s Word and praise Him

Pools – refurbished in 2010, ready for some “cool” fun! The big pool is 3 to 4-1/2 feet deep, and the small pool is 2-1/2 feet deep. Your group will be responsible for hiring a lifeguard – MVBC can provide you with contact info. for local guards.

Archery – the “Hut” is where you gather for some shooting fun! Please bring targets, bows and arrows.

Playground – is equipped with swings, sliding board, merry-go-round and see-saws, as well as a blacktop basketball court with two backboards.

Picnic Pavilion – has picnic tables and grills for outdoor feasting!

Hiking Trails – these encircle the camp and make you feel like you’re out in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful!

Double Zip Lines – crazy fun with lots of thrills – times two!

Camp Library – full of books ranging from the Classics to Bible devotionals to Fiction. 

Craft House – where you can get your art on! Plenty of space to create & lots of shelves for storage.

Camp Store – is on the side of the Craft House facing the Barn, where groups can sell candy, soda and merchandise if they like
